Napa/Sonoma Wine Country 04'

This was our first trip to wine county. Neither of us had been before so we didn't know what to expect. We stayed at Doubletree Sonoma. It was a beautiful hotel just south of the Sonoma Valley wineries.

The first day we got up early and were outside the first winery by 10am. We walked into Silver Oak Cellars not knowing what to expect. This was the start of a long, fun day. Five hours and five wineries later we were drunk and wine and needed McDonalds to recover. Below are the wineries we went to in Sonoma Valley

  • »     Silver Oak Cellars
  • »     Geyser Peak Winery
  • »     Bella Vineyards
  • »     Lambert Bridge Winery
  • »     Alderbrook Winery

  • Day two was more of the same. A lot of wine drinking, bread eating, and impaired hill driving. The wineries in Napa Valley tend to be a bit fancier and have more expensive tasting fees. The highlight of day two was definitely The Wine Room. A small winery with wine from many different vineyards. Below are the wineries we went to in Napa Valley.

  • »     Robert Mondavi
  • »     Beaulieu Vineyard
  • »     Sterling Vineyards
  • »     Kenwood Vineyards
  • »     The Wine Room
