Belmont Harbor

We officially moved the boat down from Winthrop Harbor to Belmont Harbor on August 20th. Belmont is one of 9 harbors in the Chicago Harbor System. It was a rough 2 hour ride down but well worth it. This was the Saturday of the Chicago Air & Water show. We'll miss the nice amenities of Winthrop, but the scenery of being in a Chicago harbor will more then make up for it.

If you look at the above image, the most northeast pier is our new home; P5. We'll probably be on a stardock into next season, then hopefully a slip will open up. It will be nice to have water and electricity again. Below are some pictures I've taken in the few weeks we've been at Belmont. As you can see the ducks will eat bread right out of your hand.
